Today our 2nd graders had a great time participating in the PAL Literacy Program! A HUGE thank you to the wonderful officers and Eli over at the Police Activities League of SW Washington for making this happen.Officers visited 2 graders for a special session that included reading a story, sharing important safety tips, answering student questions, and giving everyone a chance to explore a police vehicle up close. To top it off, each student received a brand new book to take home.
Such a meaningful experience for our students!
